Colleen writes short fiction and novels about anything and everything that sparks her interest. You'll find stories about first loves, last loves, bad loves, and everything tangled in between. She’s also passionate about crafting stories that explore the darker parts of the world and the sometimes dull horrors of day-to-day life. Her stories focus where the soul breaks a little, laughs a lot, and perseveres anyway.

She lives on the East Coast with her two kids and a household that enjoys the outdoors a little too much for her liking. (She pretends to enjoy it. She's somewhat convincing.) When she’s not writing, she’s reading—or making Google searches that would make her FBI agent rip their hair out.
