Colleen writes poetry, short fiction, and novels about anything and everything that sparks her interest. She’s not picky about genre, but she admits she’s a sucker for a good romance. She’s also passionate about crafting stories that explore the darker parts of the world and the sometimes dull horrors of day-to-day life.

She lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her two kids and husband, who all enjoy the outdoors a little too much for her liking. (She pretends to enjoy it. She's somewhat convincing.) When she’s not writing, she’s reading—or making Google searches that would tempt her FBI agent rip their hair out.
